Intersectional equality and disability justice is at the foundation of Autastic. Our members hold multiple identities across the spectrums of gender and sexuality and represent a diversity of races, ethnicities, faiths, and age groups.
Because of who we are in the world every day, we stand together in our lifelong fight against discrimination and prejudice and for inclusivity and belonging.
In practice, this means holding conversations and reserved spaces for autistic people of color, our trans community, #AutisticElders, and more. It means holding our allies accountable. If there’s not a space for you, we’ll create one.
